Council Meeting Adopts Parks Maintenance & Beautification Standards at their April 16, 2025 Meeting

The Manager of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Aylmer presented a report on the proposed new Parks Maintenance & Beautification Standards at the April 16, 2025 meeting of Council. This document outlines a strategy for the maintenance and beautification of town parks. Findings from the Parks and Recreation Master Plan and the 2024 Budget and Recreation Surveys indicate that residents prioritize parks, playgrounds, and trails, and that service level expectations are high. As a result, strategic planning is required to maintain the amenities and beautification of town parks.
