Overview

The Town of Aylmer wants to make sure the ice experience at the East Elgin Community Complex is great for everyone. Each year, we ask ice users — like local sports groups and event organizers — for feedback about things like booking ice, the quality of the ice, dressing rooms, and more. This helps us understand what’s working well and what can be improved.

What's Changing

We are working to make the experience better by:

  • Improving how ice is booked – so it’s fair and timely for all groups

  • Upgrading customer service – by answering questions faster and being easier to reach

  • Using your feedback – to improve things like ice quality, facility cleanliness, and dressing room conditions

  • Reviewing rental policies – including pricing and rules to make sure they are clear and fair

Why It Matters

Hockey, skating, and other ice sports are an important part of our community. By listening to our users, we can:

  • Make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy the ice

  • Support local teams and events

  • Keep the EECC a safe, clean, and welcoming place

How You Can Participate

If you book or use the ice, we want to hear from you!

  • Fill out the Ice User Survey each spring

  • Tell us what you liked and what could be better

  • Share your experience with booking, the facility, and the ice itself

What Will Be Done with the Feedback?

  • Town staff will review all responses

  • We’ll look for trends and find ways to improve

  • Results will help guide how we assign ice, set rates, and improve the EECC

  • Changes will be shared with user groups before the next ice season begins
