Note: Your comments will appear under your chosen username. You can remain anonymous by selecting a username that does not identify you personally.

How do I provide input?

You can submit feedback by using the online tools available on each project page that is currently open for consultation.

Why is the Town of Aylmer using an online engagement platform?

Traditionally, community engagement has involved attending open houses, public meetings, or submitting letters to Council.
By using an online platform, the Town of Aylmer aims to:

  • Reach more residents across the community

  • Make it easier for you to provide input and share ideas

  • Allow you to stay informed and involved without needing to attend in-person events

  • View and respond to comments shared by others

Can I use this site anonymously?

Yes. Even though you need to register to comment, your identity remains protected. Your username will appear publicly, not your real name.

This site is hosted by Bang the Table Pty Ltd on behalf of the Town of Aylmer. Bang the Table will not share your identity with the Town. All communication will occur through the platform, keeping your email address private.

What happens to my input?

All feedback collected online is compiled and shared with the relevant project managers to help inform recommendations and decision-making.

Input gathered through the portal complements feedback received through other in-person engagement activities like open houses, workshops, and public meetings.

Note: All comments submitted through Get Involved Aylmer become part of the public record.

Is my privacy protected?

Yes. Your privacy is very important to us. The Town of Aylmer will only use your email address to send updates and invitations to participate in consultations.
Your email address will never be shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.

Moderators watch for:

  • Off-topic discussions (moderators may guide discussions back on track)

Moderation is managed by Bang the Table on behalf of the Town of Aylmer. Moderators do not edit comments — they only remove posts that are significantly off-topic, offensive, or malicious. If a comment is removed, the poster will be notified by email.
