Phase 4: Recommended Parcels

The Town of Aylmer is holding a public meeting under Section 173 of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 to receive input on potential restructuring through a boundary adjustment.

Date: Wednesday April 9th, 2025 – 7:00 p.m.

Location: East Elgin Community Complex, 531 Talbot Street West Aylmer, ON

The public is invited to provide verbal and written comments to Aylmer Council regarding the Town of Aylmer Corporate and Settlement Area Boundary Expansion. Any person may attend the in-person public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation regarding the recommended parcels. Verbal comments for the public meeting may be provided in-person only. Written comments can be submitted by email to the Manager of Planning and Development or in-person to the Town Hall Office by no later than noon on April 9th, 2025.

The purpose of this public meeting is to inform Council of the finalized parcel scores and provide recommendations for parcels to be included within the corporate and settlement area boundary.

Council’s recommendations will form the basis for negotiations with the adjacent municipality.
