Phase 4: Public Meeting - Wednesday April 9, 2025 7:00 p.m.

The Town of Aylmer is holding a public meeting under Section 173 of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 to receive input on potential restructuring through a boundary adjustment.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Council of the Town of Aylmer will hold an in-person public meeting on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the East Elgin Community Complex Blueline Room, 531 Talbot Street West, Aylmer ON with a public livestream available at www.youtube.com/TownOfAylmer. The public is invited to participate in the public meeting to provide verbal and written comments to Council regarding the Town of Aylmer Corporate and Settlement Area Boundary Expansion.

The Town of Aylmer has retained Stantec Consulting Ltd. to assist in the assessment of potential lands for inclusion in the Town’s anticipated corporate and settlement area boundary expansion. The scoring assessment of potential parcels for inclusion in the Town’s boundary has been completed. The purpose of this public meeting is to inform Council of the finalized parcel scores and provide recommendations for inclusions within the corporate and settlement area boundary.

Any person may attend the in-person public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation regarding the finalized parcel scores and recommended parcels. Verbal comments for the public meeting may be provided in-person only. Written comments can be submitted by email to the Manager of Planning and Development or in-person to the Town Hall Office (46 Talbot Street West Aylmer, ON N5H 1J7) by no later than noon on April 9th, 2025.
