2026 Capital Budget Spotlight: Baseball Diamond Upgrades

2026 Capital Projects Spotlight: Baseball Diamond Upgrades

The Town of Aylmer is planning important upgrades to its baseball diamonds as part of the 2026 Capital Projects program.

What Work Is Being Done?

The Town is making improvements to local baseball diamonds to help keep them safe, well-maintained, and enjoyable for everyone.

The work includes:

  • New and improved fencing around the fields
  • Upgrades to dugouts
  • Better infield playing surfaces and general field conditions

These improvements are being done in partnership with the Aylmer Minor Ball Association, who are helping carry out the work with the Town. The goal is also to create a bigger long-term plan for future improvements to the baseball diamonds.

How Will This Project Be Funded?

This project will be paid for using money from the Town’s Parks Reserve. This helps the Town reinvest in parks and recreational spaces so they can continue to be safe and enjoyable for years to come.
