At this event, you'll hear about the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, local crime data, and how APS is working to keep Aylmer safe. There will also be myth-busting and a question-and-answer session with the Chief and Deputy Chief of Police.

You can send in your questions ahead of time by using the form at the bottom of this page. Please note: this link is not for reporting a crime or talking about ongoing investigations.

What's Changing

The new 2025-2028 Strategic Plan shares APS' main goals for the next four years, including:

  • Being visible in the community
  • Building stronger connections with residents
  • Using better tools, equipment, and technology
  • Improving how the police service works as a team

These changes are meant to help APS serve the community better and stay open and responsive to local needs.

Why It Matters

This event helps the community:

  • Learn what APS is doing to respond to safety concerns
  • Understand crime trends in Aylmer
  • Hear about future plans for policing
  • Share ideas or questions with APS leaders

Your feedback helps APS make sure their work matches what the community needs and values.

How You Can Participate

What Will Be Done With the Feedback

APS will review all the questions and comments shared before and during the event. Common themes will help guide how the police service communicates and connects with the public in the future.

Your feedback will also help APS as they put the 2025-2028 plan into action and continue to improve how they serve Aylmer.
